Yes, a form will be emailed to you, to be completed 30 days prior to the Wedding Date. If your Wedding Ceremony is Legal or Civil, a scanned copy of valid passports from Bride, Groom and the four witnesses will also be required.
The Apostille document is a special certification document that is accepted in countries that signed the 1961 Hague Convention. This Apostille document enables you to bypass further certification from the US Department of State and immediately send or take your documents to the country of intended use. Please contact your Secretary of State office for information on how to obtain the Apostille Document or check http://www.state.gov/m/a/auth/c16921.htm
If you need to supply one because of special circumstances (like in the case of the Bride being divorced or widowed) you must have one original copy with Apostille and translation made by an official translator (please consult with your Wedding Coordinator).
Yes, it is necessary to have a valid passport in order to be legally married in Mexico.
Also known as "Single Status Statutory Declaration", it is a document required for legal weddings. It states that you are currently single and have no impediment to get married.
You must be in Mexico for at least three working days before the wedding. Saturdays, Sundays and Official Mexican Holidays are not considered working days. Please ask your Wedding Coordinator for more details.
If you wish to have your wedding within six months, please fill out a Wedding Application form, available on the internet or through the Wedding Coordinators.
Once we receive the information we will need 48 hours to check date and time availability with the Judge or Minister.
It is best to give the Coordinators several options in case the first choice is not available.
